Mystic River

Secret Canyon between Upper and Lower Johnston Falls is truly a magnificent place. Johnston Canyon is no doubt the busiest place in Banff National Park. No matter the day you will see busloads of people crawling on the path to see two okish waterfalls. One can't find solitude in this part of National Park ... Unless you know where to look for. Calm Waters

Mt. Rundle, reaching 2 948m with contour of over 1 300m is one of the many iconic landmarks in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. Weather permitting, sunrise will paint eastern side of the mountain with red and golden hue. This picture was taken on shore of Two Jack Lake. Even though this place is swarming people during warm summer afternoons, we had the place for ourselves with nothing but a pack of wolves howling somewhere in the distance. Taken July 2017.

Awesome Falls

Takakkaw (loosely translated from Cree language as “It’s Awesome!) Falls is one of the highlights when visiting Yoho National Park in British Columbia. With freefall of over 260 metres and total height of 302 metres it is a magnificent sight to behold to. Taken July 2017.

Sunrise at Moraine Lake

Golden Hour at Icefields Parkway

Icefields Parkway is a highway stretching 232km between the towns of Jasper and Banff. Rugged wilderness and wildlife is present all the time; during our 2-week-long visit we didn't only see marvelous vistas but also elk & deer, wolves, black bears, grizzlies and even bald eagles. Spirit Island

Spirit Island is no doubt one of the most photographed views of the Canadian Rockies. Located deep in Maligne Lake, one has to canoe 30km out-and-back or take a cruise to be able to see this small, land-tied island. The island itself is a spiritual place for the Nakoda people, who believe mountains are physical representations of their ancestors. Taken July 2017.
